- !Supply or control is concentrated in one organisation: His Bloomberg Billionaires profile (02/2025, figures provided by Justin Sun's side) says he holds over 60 billion TRX, i.e. most of the supply; only 27 Super Representatives produce blocks.
- iStaking: DPoS with 27 Super Representatives; unstaking requires waiting about 14 days.
- iA settlement between the SEC and Justin Sun was proposed in March 2026, but court approval could not be confirmed.
Interest is paid in TRX: if the TRX price falls, the USD value of both your deposit and your interest falls. In about 2 months out of 3, TRX moves within ±5%, it fell 22% from its peak at one point in the last 12 months, down 1% from a year ago. These swings are usually far larger than a year of interest. The coin’s risk tier does not include price risk.
